Welcome Apple iPhone 3G SApple iPhone 3G S, probably the greatest smart phone anyone could talk about after the news broke of its new and improved features at this week's Worldwide Developers Conference 2009. It looks to be yet another lust-worthy gadget from Apple Corporation, but the most important info you can take away from this is that it will be launched in Malaysia sometime in July, a source close to Maxis says. (Darn do we have to follow Maxis' plan again?)
Due to be released on 19 June, the iPhone 3G S seems like a fully-featured smart phone. However, I don't think the incremental changes in hardware would be enough to entice current iPhone owners to upgrade. The good news is that Maxis might be bringing in the new model to Malaysia in July. Keep your fingers cross! Well, I mean cross. What can you expect from Maxis?
What's so good about Apple iPhone 3G S?
Improved Graphic Quality and Gaming Performance
The reasonably fast processing of the previous model is now apparently two times faster, thanks to the new 600MHz processor with 256MB RAM on board. This speed bump covers execution and launching of applications, and also performance of the embedded Safari web browser too. Apple Corporation also claims that iPhone 3G S features improved graphics performance. That's why we should expect to see better game performance, as well as games of increased visual complexity.

Video recording is available at 30fps VGA, as well as auto white balance, auto exposure and auto focus too. You can too perform video editing, or video trimming with just a touch of your finger.

Pricing of iPhone 3G will be plunged down to $99 while iPhone 3G S 16GB and 32GB will be priced at $199 and $299 respectively. Of course it's not that cheap as it comes with Maxis plan. (Of course I hope not).
